| Abstract: | The dialect is the living fossil of the language. Some modem demonstrative pronouns still remain in Renhuai Dialect, but these modem demonstrative pronouns have already been out of use in the standard spoken Chinese. This article discusses the usages of some demonstrative pronouns in the modem Chinese and the Renhuai dialect. |
