| 摘 要： | 考察生命特征对英汉主谓结构的制约情况，探索隐喻性无灵句汉译的常用策略。汉语主谓对生命特征极其敏感，要求有灵主语与有灵动词搭配；英语主谓对生命特征极不敏感，无灵名词与有灵动词搭配是常态。汉译策略有“逻辑辨析”、“复句翻译”、“引伸有据”等。

| Abstract: | Based on a detailed study of Metaphorical English Sentences with Inanimate Subjects(MESIS),this paper first contrasts the constraints of animacy on the subject-predicate structure in English and Chinese.Then with the knowledge gained from the contrastive study,the writer tries to offer some applicable strategies for putting MESIS into proper Chinese. |
