| 摘 要： | 丁文江不仅是中国地质科学的主要奠基者，而且是近代科学救国思想的主要倡导者和实践者。他一生致力于科学救国思想的宣传和实践，主张以科学观念更新人们的思想，以科学精神作为指导人们行动的准则，强调科学在救亡图存中的决定作用，并身体力行地参与科学救国事业。为捍卫科学，他积极发起“科玄论战”。在科学知识的普及推广、人才的培养以及科研机构的管理等方面，作出了卓越贡献，尤其在地质调查所的创建和“中央研究院”的改革方面，成就颇大。他为近代中国培育了第一代地质人才，为近代中国科学事业尤其是地质科学的发展做出了开创性的贡献。他是中国地质学界第一位将专业知识与企业生产结合起来的科学家。他用自己行动上的积极奋斗努力实践其毕生倡导的科学救国思想。

| Abstract: | Ding Wenjiang was not only the major founder of the Chinese geological science,but also the main advocator and practitioner of the thoughts of saving the country through science.He devoted himself to publicizing and practicing that thought all his life and claimed to use science to renovate people's ideas and take the spirit of science as the rule of action.He emphasized the decisive function of science on saving the nation from extinction and earnestly practiced the cause of saving the country through science.He had made an outstanding contribution to the popularization of science,to the training of personnel and to the management of the institute of scientific research.He had succeeded in establishing the research institute of geology and reforming the center academy.He had cultivated the first generation of geological talents for modern China,made creative contribution to the development of modern Chinese scientific enterprise,especially geology.He was the first scientist in modern Chinese geological field who combined professional knowledge with enterprise production. |
