| Abstract: | Since the mid Ming Dynasty,"Chuhuang" was adopted in the circles of governments,education,trade,medicine,clans etc.in the prefecture of Huangzhou,Hubei.Through a thorough investigation,the paper holds that the name "Chuhuang" is loaned with some cultural features.There are bright prospects for the study of Chuhuang culture. |
