| Abstract: | The European dimension in education has been of concern to the Community since it turned its attention to the matter of a Community educational policy. This article traces and considers some of the major developments in the idea and the teaching of the European dimension. Attention is given to the major policy documents, debates, and decisions of the Community and other interested parties. |
