| Abstract: | Throughout the 20th century, the relations between traditions and modern ideas, between religions and common customs, between liberty and conservation, and between integration and diversification constituted the internal tension of moral education in the USA. An analysis and study of these basic strained relations can help us better understand the historical development of moral education in the USA during the 20th century and have important implications for the reform of moral education in China today. |
