| Abstract: | Course Access is a program guided by the ideas of equity and quality education, relying on the K-12 Online Education and for solving the unequitable opportunities of education in US. The purposes of the program are to improve the quality of education, promote the equity of education, meet the diverse needs of students and provide equitable learning opportunities for preparing students for colleges and employment. The Course Access program follows the principles of equitable selection, students' needs-oriented, focusing on quality and accountability, establishing adequate, sustainable and performance-based funding. Currently, Course Access program has been widely carried out in some states. |
