| Abstract: | Impressionism occupies an important position in the history of western painting. From the fact that impressionists are good at employing light and color in their paintings, the paper presents that impressionism possesses some characteristics that are different from traditional painting techniques, and it also explains how impressionism functions as a bridge between the traditional art and the mordern art . |
