| 摘 要： | 针对大学英语教学"费时低效"问题,文章剖析了传统的以课本为依托的大学英语精读教学模式的弊端,并指出当前大学英语面临的关键问题并不是通过精读课学习多少新单词,而是如何让学生对学过的单词达到熟练应用的程度。文章建议削减并逐步取消大学英语精读课,开展以英语泛读项目为中心,辅之以人文类与专业类选修课,自主学习与社会实践为两翼的大学英语教学模式。
