| 摘 要： | 归化与异化之争在翻译界由来已久。从异化和归化的英语对应词的来源和内涵入手,可明确异化和归化的含义,使该术语的概念界定更加准确。异化和归化作为翻译策略,与直译、意译有一定联系,也有着本质的区别。异化和归化的翻译策略涉及到语言形式和文化内容两个层面,因此在实际的翻译过程中可以采取异化和归化互补的双重翻译策略。

This essay starts from the sources of Assimilation and Alienation to obtain their precise definitions and examines their relation with and differences from the conceptions of direct translation and literal translation.
