| 摘 要： | The essay takes a stylistic approach to The Building, the author of which, Larkin, is the "guru" of "The Movement". It focuses on sound patterning, syntactic structure and semantic relations of the poem, in the hope of bringing some fresh air to Larkin-related studies.
