| 摘 要： | 日本幕末时期,迫于西洋国家的压力,幕府与欧美列强签订了一系列条约,其中《日美修好通商条约》的签订标志着日本与欧美列强开通商贸易之始,在诸多条约中具有典型特征。哈里斯作为美国派驻日本的第一任大使,也是签订《日美修好通商条约》的美国全权代表,来日后与幕府外交代表的交涉过程,再次呈现了幕末日本与美国外交初建时的曲折历程;对《日美修好通商条约》内容的深度解析及论证,可以进一步透视幕末日美外交的本质与特征。
