| 摘 要： | 美国黑人女作家汤妮莫里森在她的小说中刻画出栩栩如生的黑人形象,描绘出从蓄奴制到种族歧视种种境况下黑人的苦难生活,揭露了存在于美国社会以及黑人自身的复杂问题。并且,她还深入黑人内部,从黑人自身出发,探索解决黑人问题的途径。而黑人个人与集体的关系问题几乎贯穿于莫里森的所有作品中,本文拟用非洲文化传统中的集体主义思想来探讨其作品中个人和集体的关系。

An Analysis about the Collectivism in Toni Morrison' Novels |

| Abstract: | Toni Morrison is one of the greatest African American female writers. She has depicted a number of vivid black characters,described their painful life under slavery system as well as racial discrimination,and disclosed the complex problems existing both in American society and in black communities. Besides,she tackles the interior of black communities in order to help the blacks out of their problems. Furthermore,the relationship between black individuals and communities is one of her major concerns in all her novels. This article aims to discuss this relationship from the perspective of collectivism in African cultural tradition. |
