英语毕业论文摘要的体裁分析对教学的启示

摘    要:英文摘要是英语专业毕业论文写作的一个薄弱环节。该文通过运用体裁分析法,对本科生毕业论文英文摘要的图式结构和语言体现两个方面进行研究。研究发现,英语专业本科论文的摘要写作存在结构过于简单、语言表达不符合英语论文写作规范等问题。笔者呼吁改革论文写作课,把体裁教学法引入到写作课中;在基础阶段的教学中,要以语篇为中心来组织教学,全面提高学生的综合语言运用能力。

Abstract:Abstract in English is a weak part in graduation thesis writing for English majors. This paper makes a study of the schemata structure and the linguistic representation mode of the abstract in English in graduation theses of English majors with genre analysis theory. The study discovers that there are some problems with these abstracts, such as the too simple and incomplete structures, linguistic expressions unable to meet the criteria and requirements of English research papers. Therefore, the author appeals for reforming the paper writing course by absorbing genre-based teaching approach and adopting discourse-based teaching approach at the foundation teaching stage of English major in college to help students improve their comprehensive linguistic competence.
