| 摘 要： | 五四运动是一场伟大的思想启蒙和爱国救亡运动。救亡的历史使命唤起启蒙的强烈愿望。陈独秀在这场运动中起着总司令的作用,以他为代表的中国先进的知识分子以救亡为历史使命,以《新青年》、《每周评论》等新锐刊物为理论阵地,始终在苦苦思索中国救亡的路径问题:首先,陈独秀认为必须破除封建专制思想的禁锢,代之以民主和科学思想,改造国民性。其次,陈独秀经过"巴黎和会"的惨痛教训,认识到资产阶级共和制度在中国是行不通的。而此时"十月革命一声炮响,给中国送来了马克思主义",中国工人阶级正式登上历史舞台,陈独秀由此转向社会主义。再者,陈独秀等人在传播、宣传马克思主义理论时,为捍卫思想的纯洁性而进行了三次大论战,在论战中马克思主义凸显了其理论的科学性,并由此诞生了马克思主义中国化的政治成果——中国共产党。中国共产党的诞生,是五四爱国救亡运动历史逻辑发展的必然结果,是爱国救亡必然的路径选择。在这场运动中,陈独秀居功至伟。
