| 摘 要： | 我国行业院校是依托行业而发展形成的具有鲜明特色的高等院校，为我国行业发展作出了重要贡献。随着国家高等教育体制改革的深入推进和经济社会发展的新形势，原行业高校如何适应办学体制转变、实现又好又快发展就成为这些高校面临的十分重要的课题。本文以安徽理工大学在煤炭高校管理体制变更后的发展为例，从煤炭高校的办学定位和特色兴校出发，指出行业高校应坚持和发扬特色，在主动为区域经济和行业发展服务的同时，不断拓宽服务面向，提高办学水平和人才培养质量，注重内涵建设，实现科学发展。
