| 摘 要： | “假朋友”，即源语和目的语中形式相同或相似而意义却完全不同的词、词组、成语及表达方式等，是翻译和理解中的一大陷阱，常造成翻译和理解上的困难和混淆。英语学习者需特别留意隐藏在词汇及习语、比喻和否定的表达方式等方面的假朋友，翻译时多联系上下文进行思考，切忌望文生义，否则很容易造成翻译上的笑话。

| Abstract: | ＂False friends＂ in translation practice, which refer to words, idioms and expressions in source language similar in form but different entirely in meanings to that in target language, often cause difficulties and confusion in interpreting. English learners should be on guard in practice while dealing with words and idioms, metaphor and negative expressions and obtain real understanding from the context. |
