| 摘 要： | 从历时性角度对英国足球的文化特征进行研究,结果表明,受英国文化的影响,英国足球具有如下的文化特征：独特的民族身份认同、绅士风度、保守性、阶级性。大不列颠及北爱尔兰联合王国松散的政治特征使得英国足球成为英国各民族进行身份认同的一种方式;英国社会各阶层对上流社会礼仪的推崇使得英国足球具有浓厚的绅士风度烙印;岛民生活形态使英国足球带有保守性倾向,并在一定程度上阻碍英国足球的发展;从19世纪中叶现代足球在英国发轫,足球就成为英国工人阶级的业余休闲方式,并成为一种实施社会控制的手段。
