| Abstract: | Allan Poe's novels are so filled with incidents of strangeness and novelty that researchers point out Poe has a particular proclivity for fantasies. Two alike know each other well. This proclivity endows Poe with the poetic imagination and mathematical analysis in researching into matters of perversion and oddities and with the great insight into mysteries of strangeness. Thus he initiates the ratiocinative novel. |
