| Abstract: | This paper presents results of an investigation into an aspect of the 5th National Games of University Students held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, 1996. By analyzing the application of electronic equipment to the track and field events and comparing the games with the first class national and international games, the authors attempt to find out the deficiencies of the National Games of University Students, The authors also put forward some suggestion for the government of Shaanxi province in organizing athletic meetings of a larger scale and higher level in the future. |
