Abstract:Hexavalent chromium ions in the water-soluble chromium slag is great poison on the human health, and Cr+6 is internationally recognized as one of the three kinds of carcinogenic metal. Chromium slag produced by chromium salt of process has been dumped long-term open, and this is not only taking up a lot of land, but raining gradually weathered so that the surrounding environment and groundwater are subject to some degrees of pollution, and this has serious impact on people's physical and mental health. This hinders the development of Chromium salt production. Disposal of chromium slag and resource of plants has become an important subject of environmental protection. This paper describes how to manage chromium slag and changes this to resources.
