| 摘 要： | 《汉宫秋》是元代著名杂剧家马致远代表作之一。英文中的“autumn”与汉语中的“秋”的涵义和文化意象不尽相同。根据“秋”字在汉语古代文学作品中的常见文化内涵、《汉宫秋》作者马致远对“秋”的感怀以及该剧的悲剧性的抒情加以分析，并提出应用增译法翻译该剧名，译为“Dismal Autumn in the Han Palace”。

| Abstract: | Dismal Autumn in the Han Palace is one of the most popular works of Ma Zhiyuan,famous dramatist in Yuan Dynasty,and it is a drama of high artistic value in literature.But the translated term of its title is controversial.This thesis analyzes the cultural connotation of autumn in Chinese,the dramatist's feelings and attitude towards autumn and then the tragic theme of this drama to come to a conclusion that the title should be translated with the help of Amplification Translating Method. |
