浅析茶叶名称英译中的语用关联

摘    要:由于受诸多因素制约,茶叶名称的英译标准和翻译策略与传统翻译不同。本文从关联理论的角度,归纳了几类常用的茶叶名称英译策略,为了达到预期的翻译效果,茶叶名称的英译应当以最佳关联原则为指导,以最小的努力,获得最大的语境效果。

Abstract:Constrained by many elements , the criteria and strategies of tea--name translation differ from those of traditional translation. This paper attempts to categorize several translation strategies used in tea--name translation from the perspective of Relevance Theory. This paper draws a conclusion that tea--name translation should always be guided by the Optimal Relevance Principle to produce the most relevant information , and to use the least effort to get the greatest contextual effect.
