摘    要:整体语言教学作为一种新兴的语言教育哲学被运用于外语教学之中。在概述整体语言观的理念和原则的基础上,探讨了整体语言教学在高职综合英语课堂教学中的实施。研究证明,整体语言课堂以学生为中心,在丰富的意义活动中融合听、说、读、写各种技能训练,有助于培养学生的英语综合应用能力。

Abstract:The implementation of a whole language philosophy into foreign language teaching and learning is a new experiment in the foreign language field.By giving a brief introduction of its philosophy,this paper tries to present the principles and methods of applying whole language teaching in Comprehensive English teaching.The paper shows that student-centered and meaningful activities provide a succession of contexts for the leaning process by integrating listening,speaking,reading and writing skill exercises,thus helping improve High Vocational College students comprehensive competence of English.
