| Abstract: | Based on a plethora of investigations made and on materials collected as many as possible, all music literature regarding Henan’s folk arts can be processed in a comprehensive manner with the help of mod ern information technology for the purpose of promoting the reform and development of local folk arts. The construction of an information database can cope successfully with major issues facing data transmission in the understanding, learning, research and propagation of Henan’s folk arts. |
