| 摘 要： | 英语谚语是一种文学形式，它与汉语文化有着极大的差异。谚语语言简练，寓意深刻，韵味隽永。谚语的翻译要求译者忠实地表达原文的思想内容，尽可能保持原文的形象比喻、修辞效果、民族特色、语言流畅，并有谚语味道。因此，采用恰当的方法进行翻译是尤为重要的。

| Abstract: | The English proverb is a form of literature.It is quite different from the Chinese culture.The translation of the proverb demands that the interpreters should be faithful to the original,and try their best to keep the vivid metaphor,rhetoric effect,national characteristic,fluent languages and the taste of the proverb.So it is very important to choose the proper way to do the translation. |
