| Abstract: | What is the trend in the development of men's table tennis of the world in the 1990s? This article has principally dealed with the question from tile following respects: 1) the European "all-direction" play developing in the direction of a more fierce and malicious one; 2) some new problems arisen from the change of the competitive rules for the men's team event; 3) China's close-table play with pen-hold grip being confronted with a severe test; 4) paying greater attention to the scientific selection of talents and training. |
