摘    要:阅读是外语学习的一个主要途径,而阅读理解本身则是极其复杂的认知过程。本文利用现代心理语言学的研究成果,概述了阅读活动中的三种模式,分析了这三种模式对外语教学的影响,并由此提出教师应指导学生在阅读中既要以阅读材料为本,重视语言文字的解码过程,又要积极发挥学生作为读者的主观能动性,运用阅读策略,激活头脑中的相关图式,综合运用语言知识与图式知识,提高阅读能力和语言运用能力。

Abstract:Reading,as a complex process with linguistics and psychological factors,plays a very important role in for- eign language learning.After an initial analysis of the reading process and three major reading models,this paper suggests that the focus in the reading process should be put both on decoding the text and on active predicting and activating students' schematic knowledge,with the bottom-up and top-down strategies functioning interactively in order to im- prove students' reading ability as well as their ability to use the foreign language.
