| 摘 要： | 英汉谚语包含着各自民族的丰富的文化意蕴。从文化的角度来给英汉谚语分类更能体现英汉文化间的异同,也为英汉谚语的互译提供了一个崭新的视角。谚语翻译中文化因素处理的好坏直接影响到翻译的成功与否。译者应从文化的角度考虑,恰当地采用归化或异化的翻译策略。

| Abstract: | English and Chinese proverbs are culture-loaded. The classification of English and Chinese proverbs from the angle of culture offers a brand-new perspective in proverb-translation. Whether or not a translator can handle the cultural elements in proverb translation is crucial to the success of translating proverbs.Translators should,fiom the perspectiue of culture,consider employing properly the translating sfrategies of domestication and foreignization. |
