| Abstract: | Aspirations in Cen Shen's poetry embody the two main features: one is to hanker for personal fame and gain and be tenacious in winning them.The other is the poet matches the individual ideal with the national needs at the time of living beyond the Great Wall,which shows the poet's great ambition to serve the country,bring peace and stability to the country. |
