| 摘 要： | 从中学英语教学中所存在的偏重英语知识的积累而学生交际能力普遍较差的问题为出发点,强调英语文化背景在英语教学中的重要性。通过分析汉英两种语言在文化背景、风俗习惯等方面的典型差异,找出在日常英语对话中经常妨碍交流和产生误解的问题,并提出加强英语文化背景教学的几个解决问题的办法。

| Abstract: | This article presents the fact, as a starting point, that English knowledge accumulation is stressed in English teaching in secondary education, while students' communicative ability remains low, and so it emphasizes the great importance of cultural backgrounds in English teaching. In the article, some typical differences between Chinese and English cultures and customs are analyzed in order to track down the problems that can often hinder communication and even cause misunderstanding, and then some solutions to the problems are given to enhance the teaching of English cultural backgrounds. |
