| 摘 要： | 胡适学成回国后应聘到北大任教，在北大实践他的教育理想，继续他的学术之路，同时以北大和《新青年》为阵地推行文学革命。北大是中国近代高等教育改革最成功的典范，为胡适推行新教育理念提供了得天独厚的条件。胡适和一批新文学、新教育前驱在北大培养青年学子，后者积极响应和支持文学革命。新教育与新文学之间的相互推进关系，在新文化运动时期的北大表现最为突出。
