| Abstract: | As an important component of Chinese traditional culture and education, private education in ancient China had exerted far-reaching influences upon some other countries, especially upon ancient Korea, Viet Nam and Japan. Specifically, the educational ideas of private education in ancient China, the educational activities of ancient Chinese educators and the unique features of private schools in ancient China promoted the popularization and development of early cultural education in the above-mentioned countries and made remarkable contributions to the cultural exchanges between China and other countries. |
