| 摘 要： | 本从词汇内涵和外延的概念入手，分析、对比英汉语词汇在内涵与外延方面的差异。作主要从外延相同、内涵不同；外延不同、内涵一致；外延和内涵都有差异等三方面进行探讨，其目的在于激发学生学习英语的兴趣，减轻其学习负担，提高学习效率。

| Abstract: | Beginning with the concepts of words' connotation and denotation, this paper tries to analyze their differences in meaning between English and Chinese. The author mainly explores their differences from the following three aspects: 1. words with the same denotative meanings but different connotative ones; 2. words with different denotative meanings but the same connotative ones; 3. words with both different denotative and connotative meanings. The purpose of the exploration is to arouse the students' study interests, relieve their burden and improve their efficiency. |
