| 摘 要： | 加拿大英语是英国英语的重要变体之一，它来源于英国英语，但是由于加拿大所处的地理位置及政治、经济、文化等方面与英国存在的差异，尤其是迥然不同的历史发展道路，使加拿大英语同英国英语产生了差别。在语音方面．加拿大英语保留了１７、１８世纪英国英语的发音习惯；某些单词的发音是加拿大人所独有的；加拿大英语的语音受到英国英语和美国英语的双重影响。本文试图从以上几方面，揭示加拿大英语语音的形成及特征。

| Abstract: | Canadian English, an important variation of British English, originates from British English but differs from it owing to the differences in geographic positon. politics, econmy, and culture between Canada and Britain,and espeeially the different historical course of development that Canada has taken from that of Britan. In pronunciatiolt Canadian English retains some of the British pronunciations in 17th and 18th centuries. The pronunciation of some words is entirely Canadian. The pronunciation of Canadian English is under the double influence of British English and American English. This paper reveals the characteristics of the pronunciation of Canadian English from the above mentioned aspects. |
