谢弗勒作品《人类的潜能——一项教育哲学的研究》述评

摘    要:谢弗勒是美国分析教育哲学的倡导者和代表人物之一,《人类的潜能》是他最杰出的作品之一,作者实现了对"人类的潜能"这一概念的突破性与原创性的阐释,引发了人们对传统潜能观的思考。该项研究属于一项实践理论,他打破了传统的关于"潜能是稳定不变的"、"潜能是可以和谐一致地实现的"、"所有的潜能都是有价值的"三个神话,并从"作为形成中的可能性"、"作为形成中的倾向性"、"作为形成中的能动性"三个维度对潜能进行了重构,并阐释了其在多学科领域中的应用。

Abstract:Scheffler is one of pioneers and representative figures of analytic educational philosophy in the United States.Human Potential is one of his prominent works and he realizes the breakthrough and original explanation of the idea of Human Potential, which makes people think over the conventional potential outlook.This study is of a practical theory that breaks three myths such a"spotential is unchangeable","potential is realizable with harmonious consistency","all the potentials are of values", and it also reconstructs the potential from three dimensions of"possibility in forming","tendency in forming"and"dynamics in forming"and explains its application in multi subject fields.
