| Abstract: | The fostering and improving of the students' reading ability should be laid stress on in the English teaching in secondary schools. In reading materials teaching, the teacher must conduct entirety teaching according to the genre characteristics. He should create conditions in and out of class to make the students gain language points by themselves. This must be properly connected with the teacher's leading role, and then all kinds of comprehensive ability of the students' using English can be fostered. |
