| 摘 要： | 词义联想有助于在英译汉时处理原文句中的形象意义。随着时代的发展，社会的进步，生活内容的丰富，新的比喻也会大量涌现。英语汉译时，对原文句中的形象意义的处理，必须谨慎，不可想当然地乱译，或因词害义。本文针对词义联想，探讨了其英汉翻译技巧。
