| Abstract: | Since the reform and opening--up policy was adopted, the policy for rural teachers in China has gone through four periods： policy adjustments, initial reforms stage, reform deepening stage, and the balanced development of urban and rural areas. During the different periods, there was always an adjustment and change in the policy on rural teachers, which has helped to achieve the change in the policy values, teacher education and rural teachers＇ configuration. |
