| Abstract: | Confucianism is both the main cultural background of the literary creations and life of scholars, and the inside spirit nexus of culture and literature in the Tang Dynasty. As the core of Confucianism, the culture of “rites and music” whose relationship between both scholars and literature, mainly manifested at three aspects: the provided guidance to literature development by the national cultural policy; the scholar’s active participation in the construction of “rites and music” culture; and the infiltration of the culture of “rites and music” in different forms of literature. |
