| Abstract: | the paper reviews the enduring friend ship established back in 1980's between Professor Gu Mingynan and the author and thus sheds light on Professor Gu's prominence from facet other than his academic accomplishments.The author who has been deeply impressed by Gu's easiness,grace,inclusiveness and broad academic vision has drawn lessons from the renowned scholar and made these gains her lifetime treasure. |
