| 摘 要： | 大学与环境关系是高等教育研究领域的一个基本理论问题。美国大学与教育一文化环境关系的互动主要体现在：民间捐资兴学之风与美国私立大学的兴盛；拓荒时期文化传统与美国大学竞争机制的形成；实用主义文化传统与美国大学人文精神的发展；美国文化的宽容及大学学术自由与创新理念的培育。这对于我国大学主动扬弃本国文化和他国文化，在大学内外营造一个适于大学自主发展的学术环境有重要的启示。

| Abstract: | The relationship between the university and the environment is a basic theoretical problem. Mutual improvement between universities and the environment of education-culture in America can mainly be laid out as follows: donation for education out of government and the prosperity of America's private universities, the cultural tradition during the expanding period and the formation of competition mechanism in universities of America, pragmatistic cultural tradition and the development of humanism spirit in America's universities, tolerance in America's cultural tradition and scholar freedom and idea for innovation in universities. All these will bring us important enlightenment develop the useful and discard the useless of domestic and foreign culture and creates available scholar environment adapting to automatic development of universities in China. |
