Discussion On the Discourse Transformation of Modem and Contemporary Tabloids： Taking Tabloids in Lanzhou City as an Example |

| Abstract: | In the period of Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China playing an important role not replaced by major newspapers in circu- lation and social influence, tabloids reflect prominence in type, circulation, sale and social impact at present. In the two phases, the tabloids win a small space in newspaper industry from strong - trendy newspapers results from to a certain content expressing the middle - lower people＇s will in an unique voice way replacing the major newspapers＇indifference, but discourse patterns in two periods are different based on different social background. This paper communication sociology theory is utilized to analyze the differences between modem and contemporary tabloids to obtain the image of people changes accompanying with social transformation and further put forward the concern for human being. |
