| Abstract: | Language is the conveyor of culture,while culture is a key component in the composition of communicative function of language.Therefore language culture has a tremendous influence on the teaching of English as a foreign language.Such influence exists in both the difference between the surface structures of English and Chinese,and the underlying cultural meanings supporting the target language.So enough attention should be paid,in College English teaching in China,to the introduction of the culture related to the target language. |
