| Abstract: | In China, the modernization and nationalization of children's literature has always been a question that affects normal development of children's literature. In 1950s and early 60s, the great enthusiasm and the bright prospect of the future after the victory of the revolution marked an important historical turning point for the modernization of Chinese children's literature, and widened the road to its nationalization. In the new era,Chinese chidren's literature, owing to the opening up policy, deeply rooted in its national cultural soil, developing what is useful and discarding what is not, and with mutual infiltration of modernization and nationalization,is going through another period of glory. |
