| 摘 要： | 演讲语篇蕴含着演讲者的情感、态度和立场，Martin的评价理论提供了对其进行语篇分析的新理论框架。本研究基于评价理论视角，以香港回归祖国15周年为背景，以历任香港特首就职演讲辞为语料，采用定性与定量相结合的研究方法，尝试从态度、介入和级差三个视角挖掘演讲辞背后的情感、态度和立场，并比较其异同。

| Abstract: | Emotion, attitude and stances can be found abundantly in inaugural speeches. Martin＇ s appraisal theory offers a new theoretical frawework for discourse analysis. This thesis attempts to dig out emotion, attitude and stance behind 4 pieces of inaugural speeches delivered by Tung Chee - hwa, Donald Tsang Yam - kuen and Leung Chun - ying, and compares the similarities and differences from the perspective of attitude, engagement and graduation in terms of appraisal theory. |
