| Abstract: | Why could Shanxi Province become the cradle of leading authority in the fields of commerce and finance in a certain historical period in spite of its disadvantages in the aspects of cultural surroundings and geographical conditions? Regardless of the huge ready market due to border military situations and business opportunities provided by the execution of Kai Zhong Zhi System,(a system in the ancient China that prescribed to provide the military with staple food) traditional culture and regional culture were also of great importance. |
