俗而不俗--简论李渔小说的语言特征

摘    要:独特的语言风格是《无声戏》与《十二楼》两部短篇小说集得以在清初风行一时的重要原因,李渔借鉴市井的表达方式,又在小说中适度流露文人的情趣,使小说语言在整体上具有了“俗而不俗”的特点。从文学史角度着眼,李渔的创作固然是推动了白话小说的“雅化”进程,但由于李渔具有有意模仿市井语言的倾向,李渔小说又显然表明在文学演进中并不存在绝对单向的“雅化”或“俗化”,二者往往是并行不悖的。

Abstract:One of the important reasons which contributed to the success of Dramas without voice and Twelve mansions is their distinctive style of writing. Li Yu not only displayed the emotion of intellectual but also drew lessons from popular culture when he wrote these novels, which made his works popular but not vulgar. It's sure that Li Yu had gone further to refine Chinese popular novels by his working. But for his intentional trend for imitating folk language, we can make a conclusion that there is not single refining or single popularizing in his works. In fact the "refining" and the "popularizing" always occur simultaneously, and they can't be separated stiffly.
