| Abstract: | The properly- translated version of English passive voice can be reached by analyzing a certain text (discourse) from the perspective of pragmatics, Different version patterns indicate different pragmatic functions and meanings. A translator can convey the real intention of the original author by selecting an appropriate version pattern. This paper focuses on the pragmatic translation of a text(discourse) and the selection strategy of a version pattern. |
