| 摘 要： | 《天边外》是尤金.奥尼尔创作的第一部多幕悲剧。在此剧中,剧作家既继承了古希腊命运悲剧的主题和悲壮风格,同时又对悲剧产生的根源作了新的思考,并开辟了从人物心理和性格窥视其命运的审美视角,从而使他的悲剧带上了鲜明的时代印记。

| Abstract: | Beyond the Horizon is Eugene O'Neill's first multi-scene tragedy.In the drama,the dramatist not only carried forward the motif and solemn style of the destiny tragedies of ancient Greece but also rendered analysis and interpretation of the social causes,and opened up an aesthetic perspective of insights of the characters' fate from the psychology and nature,so that a vivid era brand was marked on his tragedy. |
